Are you following Plum District yet?  It’s a great internet coupon site.  Personally, I’m a huge fan of the coupon sites that are out there now – Groupon, Living Social, SpreeBird (formerly Screamin’ Daily Deals) – but I’d have to say that Plum District is my favorite.  The reason?  Because their deals are specifically geared toward moms and families, so I almost always find something for us.

And this week is no exception!  Right now, they have some great deals going on that I’m going to snap up.

First up:  $28 for two dozen cupcakes delivered to your door!  That’s right, not only do you not have to bake them, but you don’t even have to go pick them up!  Okay, that’s pretty appealing for us busy moms, right?  These would be perfect for your child’s birthday party, your next book club, a classroom party, or your next dinner party (so you don’t have to worry about dessert).  They’re baked by Simply Cupcakes in Huntington Beach, which makes delicious cupcakes, and they have over 10 flavors to choose from.  A couple of things you should know about this deal – you can only choose 2 flavors for your order, delivery is an additional $10 if you live more than 10 miles from Huntington Beach, and the voucher expires 4/23/12.  As usual with these deals, you may only use one voucher in a transaction (though you can buy two to be used two different times), and you must use the entire voucher in one order.  Sound interesting?  Click HERE to go get your cupcakes.

If you’re planning a birthday party for your child, then this week is REALLY your week at Plum District!  Check this one out – a bounce house rental for only $39!  The bounce house comes from Bouncy Jumpers, a family-owned OC-based business.  The details?  They deliver between 9 and 11 am, and pick up around 7 pm, depending on their driver’s route.  They will do their best to accommodate your party needs.  They are located in Lake Forest, so an additional charge of $4.95 applies if you’re taking delivery more than 30 miles from Lake Forest (that’s a pretty large delivery radius, though).  For this voucher, there are 2 bounce houses to choose from – the classic castle or princess castle.  You can see them HERE.  They have larger bounce houses available, with basketball hoops and slides, that you can select for an upgrade fee.  Not only is this a great idea for a birthday party, but for this price, you could snap one up for a fun playdate!  Click HERE for this deal.

If you’re feeling like you need a little pampering, then Plum District has another great deal for you – $22 for a full-service one hour pedicure at Images Salon in Corona del Mar.  A one-hour foot treat?  Wow!  Sounds good to me!  Here’s some details on this one:  you must book and appointment for your pedicure, and it’s with Kathy Evers at the salon.  You may buy an additional voucher as a gift – what a great birthday or holiday gift for you and a girlfriend!
